I am BC born and raised. After college and exploring a few different jobs I chose a career in policing, serving for 25 years in various capacities in Quebec, Saskatchewan and British Columbia. During my policing career I also completed interdisciplinary Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees - predominantly in the disciplines of Psychology and History. However, I also completed course work in Criminology, Philosophy, Business and more.
During these years my wife Sharon and I raised three daughters. We also had many other young people, including international students, coming and going from our home. I was an active community volunteer - among other things coaching hockey, soccer and basketball and serving in my local church. Because of this latter interest I also completed theological studies and served for three years as an Anglican parish priest and pastor.
No matter what work I have done in the past three decades I have always had a similar purpose, which is:
(1) To personally live, work, relate with and serve others with integrity, balance and health and;
(2) To help and equip others to do the same.
In 2014 I concluded my parish ministry (in our 4th province - Manitoba) and moved to the city of Cranbrook in southeastern British Columbia's beautiful East Kootenay region. There, I continue to focus on my life values and vocational purpose through my consulting work and teaching at our local College of the Rockies.
Please take some time to explore my web site and see if there might be some way I could be of service to you, your marital relationship, your team or your organisation in meaningful and practical ways. I would welcome your call or email.
